This newsletter is your home for all the news and updates related to building development projects at the Mid County Health Center. We’ll provide quarterly updates related to our building review and assessment including potential enhancements to provide the highest level of service to our community.
So what’s the latest with the Mid County Site Assessment? Here's the lowdown:
- What's Happening? The Community Health Center is working with Cascadia and Capital Link to determine how to improve the Mid County Health Center building—potentially repairs, maybe a replacement. We’re also looking at the services we offer now and what new ones we could add.
- Who's Getting Updates? This newsletter will keep all staff, patients, partners, and community members in the loop
- What's Been Done Lately?
- Cascadia recently sent out a staff survey, and the Mid County staff shared their interest in making improvements and expanding services. These survey results have been presented to Primary Care, Dental, and Pharmacy staff of Mid County.
- Cascadia also held four focus groups to request feedback from patients and the community on improving and expanding services, as well as renovation or replacement of the clinic. The feedback will be incorporated into the consultant recommendations due at the end of February.
- Our purpose is to engage, listen, and understand what our clients and community need.
- What's Next?
- We’ll be meeting with the consultants this winter to get more information.
- Cascadia is also holding program meetings to dive deeper into what patients need and how we can boost current capacity.
- We expect to have this assessment complete by the end of February 2026.
