Expanded Fernhill Health Center opens May 20, 2025
After four years of clinic planning and engagement to expand services, the La Clinica de Buena Salud will move to its new home on NE 42nd and Killingsworth, re-opening under the name “Fernhill Health Center” in honor of the park adjacent to the building. The relocation triples the size of existing space, allowing a fully integrated model of care while also increasing space for community health workers, behavioral health teams, and on-site insurance enrollment and support. The new location will feature additional workforce development programming partnership with Portland Community College’s Opportunity Center at 42nd, expanding upon current job training and apprenticeships available at the Community Health Center.
As part of the Multnomah County Community Health Center, the Fernhill Health Center location will provide comprehensive, high quality primary care services for everyone! Patients seeking help with insurance options can learn more about Medicaid or Medicare enrollment, including the Oregon Health Plan and Healthier Oregon at the new location. Starting May 20th, the Fernhill Health Center’s new address will be 5530 NE 42nd Ave, Portland, Oregon. The clinic will offer:
- Adult and Child Healthcare
- Women’s Healthcare
- Reproductive health
- Behavioral Health
- Acupuncture
- Vaccinations
- Help with insurance enrollment
- On-site Pharmacy Services including prescriptions, clinical pharmacy services
- Coming in Summer 2025! Dental hygiene and dental screenings
