Immigrant and refugee services

You are welcome at the Community Health Center

We provide care for everyone who lives in Multnomah County. If you are a refugee or are seeking asylum, we can help you get the care you need.

Our refugee program

We work with local organizations to help new refugees and immigrants get settled in Multnomah County.

Our Mid County clinic offers a special program to help refugees work with the US health system to get care.

How we can help

The refugee program at our Mid County clinic can help you understand and follow US and Oregon laws and rules from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

We can also help with:

  • Medical screening and tests
  • Vaccinations and immunizations
  • Medications and prescriptions
  • Filling out forms for schools
  • Health requirements for green cards
  • Case management
  • Support in many languages

Your first visits

Your first two visits will be at our Mid County clinic. You can ask for an interpreter to help in your language. Here’s what to expect.
