Melissa Cariño is an LPN at East County Health Center. She is an innovator around prenatal care coordination, working with clinic management to pilot an amazing nurse visit at the beginning of pregnancy. Patients love the education and comprehensive care, and providers love having thorough information and rapport establishment with the clinic!

Ryan Parsons is a LCSW and BHP at North Portland Health Center. He consistently adapts his diverse clinical skills to meet patients at their current state, while maintaining a focus on holistic care and interdisciplinary collaboration. From assisting families in securing in-home care for patients to offering support for individuals grieving the loss of a family member to overdose, he consistently prioritizes the patient’s humanity.

Kendra Allen is the Mobile Clinic Program Supervisor and goes above and beyond to meet every client's needs - no matter how big. She raised funds and basic essentials to sponsor three trauma-impacted families for a full month of healing at the Welcome Center, demonstrating her commitment to clients.

Tamra Kehoe, NP, and Evelyn Pelayo, CMA, Program Supervisor for the Student Health Center implemented "Comfort Promise" which gives patients, especially children, options on how to feel more comfortable during procedures like vaccines and labs. They researched pain and anxiety control, and gave patients options such as bubbles, suckers, and Buzzy Bees.
Whitney Thomas is a FNP at Mid County Health Center. Whitney is one of our original APC fellows. She is kind, efficient, no nonsense, and gets the work done all while happily joking around with her team. She loves our patients, as well as the staff at Mid County Health Center!
